The Prison Hatchway, which leads to Hope's prison, is located on the east end of the corridor. The portal exits into the House's foyer, which has a large door and four Pillar of Souls. Using the door will summon Hope, who will introduce herself and give the party four sets of Debtor's Attire, which will disguise them from the Eternal Debtors while in the house. Helsik has a pouch five (5) essential items needed for summoning a portal to the House of Hope. Talking to her initially will not reveal any options to acquire these through dialogue. Once inside the building, you will meet Helsik, the shop owner and key person to getting access to the House of Hope in Avernus. Before you grab the hammer, send three party members to the prison hatch. Switch back to your party member in the Archives, grab the hammer, and either cast invisibility or use a potion of invisibility. Make sure to swipe the Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength and the other treasure before leaving.
To enter, you’ll need to interact with an infernal gem and pass a wisdom check of 10 and an arcana check of 20. In case they differ, try to open inspect other objects in the area. If you fail a check when talking to Helsik, you can have another character talk to her and roll another check. Fire resistance, absorb elements, and Counterspell are good options for this phase, and you could try Silence as well. Leave the prison, and enter the foyer where you first arrived.
Upon reaching the western portion of the Baldur's Gate 3 House of Hope dungeon, Hope will tell you about the Archivist. Pass the skill checks here to learn that the Archivist is afraid of Zariel's inquisitor, Verillius Receptor. This gives you a dialogue option to pretend as the inquisitor, which means the Archivist won't bother you. Opposite the entrance is a lever which opens a shortcut back to the feast hall. In the centre of the Main Corridor is entrance to the the boudoir; the northernmost room in the House. Access to the boudoir requires either the Boudoir Invitation from The Archivist in the archive, or traversal across the platforms from the Eastern Balcony.
